For example: Canned goods and any food items which are not perishable such as confectionery and other dry foods (not containing dairy and not of animal origin). 

Make sure you look at the best before dates on the food items and keep in mind that the goods you place in the box will have to travel 8-12 weeks.

As per the Department of Agriculture of the Philippines, Food that is NOT allowed includes fresh or frozen meat, fresh fruits, fresh fish, these may NOT be brought into or sent to the Philippines.
